Feversham Fall Fair (10) Feversham Agricultural Society

Postpone for 2020

It is with regret that the Feversham Agricultural Society announces the postponement of the 2020 Feversham Fall Fair until September 17, 18 and 19 of 2021.

This decision was not taken lightly, but the reality of the COVID-19 pandemic made it necessary. The current uncertainty around when municipal facilities will re-open, what crowd sizes will be allowed, and what enhanced safety and sanitation measures will be required has made planning for this year’s Fair impractical.  Also, the Society did not want to put at risk the health and safety of our volunteers, judges, exhibitors, vendors and guests.  For these reasons the Society made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Fair.

The Society is looking into the possibility of hosting some virtual competitions and, if circumstances allow, a small celebration or event this Fall.

The Feversham Fall Fair has a proud tradition dating back to 1867.  While the decision to postpone is disappointing, it is the right one given these challenging times.  Our community is strong and resilient and we will get through this.  The Feversham Agricultural Society invites everyone to join us in 2021!
